At the end of March, Facebook will force all Facebook pages to convert to the new timeline. But before you even fret about this, we are here to tell you – this is good news. The new timeline affords more room (810px verses 520px) and offers a better approach to “tabs” that users can actually see. The tabs will work the same way but again, offer a much wider palette to work with that actually makes them more friendly and usable. The only drawback to the new timeline from Facebook is the main image on the landing page is not clickable. So users will be forced to actually click on a tab in order to get interactive content. Again, this is not all bad. You can still add measures to only allow access to content after someone likes your page.
